Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen joined by John Mayer
A few hours before the New Year’s Eve Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen were joined by John Mayer in CNN New Year’s Eve Time Squared special. Both Copper and Cohen were taking shots of tequila to toast the New Year when John Mayer joined them from Tokyo’s cat cafe. Mayer kept a straight face while the cats moved around him.
On connecting with Maye, Cohen said “It doesn’t look sanitary John”. Mayer replied,” You know what I believe it passes all health codes, I think it’s all fine. Yes, we are in the cat bar called Cats in the Box celebrating New Year. We’re already halfway through the first day of 2024.”
Just then Mayer unknowingly turns where is was few centimeters away from a cat’s ass after seeing that sight Anderson Cooper can’t able to control his laughter. Cohen joked “He’s gone, he’s off with the fairies here” After that Cohen move on to say that “Just the shot of the cat’s ass in your face is making him delirious.” Which makes Cooper laugh even more.

New Year’s Eve clashes between Andy Cohen and Ryan Seacrest
On 202 New Year’s Eve, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper got tipsy after having a few shots of alcohol. Under the influence of alcohol, Cohen dissed Seacrest on air while Seacrest was hosting ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
Cohen said “If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing”, and “If you are watching ABC you are watching nothing”. He later apologized on a SiriusXM radio show.
In 2022, Seacrest told on Live with Kelly & Ryan that he waved a the CNN hosts but Cohen didn’t wave back during the New Year 2022. When Cohen later said that he was not aware of that exchange.

This time Andy Cohen doesn’t want to cause controversy with Ryan Seacrest
Cohen said: “I just want it to be known that I tried really hard. We salute Seacrest. He saw us waving, so he can’t say I insulted him.”
Cooper yelled, “Don’t start. “Don’t even mention it.”
Cohen responded: “I’m not going to start. I just keep it very clean. We have greeted. The connection has been made.”
Cooper said Seacrest had some kind words.
“We compliment his outfit,” he said. “He looked great. He dressed very nice”.
Cooper then said, “It’s Andy stirring the pot.”
Cohen responded: “Not really. You just have to keep it clean. “This year I will keep my side of the road clean.”
