Amber Rose shared her thoughts on the infamous conversation between her ex, Kanye West, and Taylor Swift.
Sitting down with ET’s Deidre Behar to talk about her new YouTube page and her clothing line, MUVA, Amber Rose, 40, talked about everything from her recent reconciliation with Blac Chyna to topic like never shave her head. ,
The conversation quickly turned to her past relationship with rapper “Gold Digger” and an awards ceremony moment from nearly 15 years ago that became an instant internet sensation.
“I don’t want to say the wrong thing because I love Taylor Swift, she’s amazing,” she says. “Was he wrong to come on stage? Absolutely. Was he telling the truth? he was telling the truth: Beyoncé deserves that award, but you can’t take it away from someone else.”

During the shocking and confusing moment, the rapper stole the microphone from Swift as she stood on stage in disbelief and infamously said, “I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time.”
Rose says that when her ex-boyfriend returned to his seat inside the auditorium, the VMAs representatives took him aside as she sat there in disbelief.
“They came and took him and talked to him and I sat there going, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe it,'” she said.
Rose added, “I was there, but it wasn’t like that, it didn’t happen to me. And I can honestly say that he was very sorry about it.” “He immediately felt bad because it wasn’t about Taylor at all, it wasn’t like I think the media made it out to be, like he was picking on her and other things. It wasn’t like that, he was just defending Beyoncé,”
She said she understood why he felt the need to perform and jump on the stage when Swift accepted the award.
“It was ‘Single Ladies.’ I mean, everyone around the world was doing that dance in the video and it was an unfortunate situation,” Rose said.
Without excusing the incident, Rose wanted to make it clear that West went through some tough times in the days and weeks that followed, especially after the moment became a viral meme and West was dragged across the internet.
“[Kanye] obviously felt bad for having Swift moment taken advantage of,” she said. “He didn’t want to do that to her.”
Amber Rose, who has nurtured her relationship with Swift over the years, said that although she didn’t accompany her 7-year-old son Sebastian on the Eras Tour, she remains a fan of the “Shake It Off” singer, regardless of your choices. . , They have evolved.
