Dakota Johnson shows off her engagement ring and denies rumours that she split from Chris Martin
Dakota Johnson has silenced rumours surrounding her split from fiancé and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Photos of the actress have surfaced on social media, in which she can be seen wandering the streets of Malibu, California, this time showing off her engagement ring.
The 34-year-old actress stepped out with friends Jeremy Allen White and Blake Lee in Malibu, California. Dakota Johnson kept her look casual in an oversized brown coat and jeans, but it was the emerald engagement ring on her left hand that caught everyone’s attention.
Despite reports and rumours swirling about a possible breakup, a representative for the Madame Web actress said that she and the Coldplay frontman have not gone their separate ways.
“They are happy together,” says the rep for Johnson, 34, and Martin, 47.

The pair were first romantically linked in 2017, when they were spotted together on a sushi date in Los Angeles after Martin finalized his divorce from ex Gwyneth Paltrow in 2016, with whom he shared a daughter, Apple, 20, and a son, Moses, 18.
The couple has generally kept their relationship private over the years. According to a source, Martin and Johnson “got engaged years ago, but were in no rush to get married.”
And while Martin and Johnson are fairly private about their romance and only make rare public appearances together, the musician publicly dedicated his song “Universe” to his longtime love during a Coldplay concert in October 2021.
