Netflix Acquires Thai Hit Film ‘How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies’
Netflix has acquired the Southeast Asian streaming rights to the Thai hit film How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, which is set to premiere on September 12.
The streaming service added that the film will also be available in more countries later this year.
In addition to leading the domestic box office, How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies has become the highest-grossing Thai film to date in several countries including Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia and Myanmar.

What is the plot of ‘How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies’?
The film revolves around M, a gambler who hopes to make it big, but his plans go awry. M is inspired by his young cousin, Mui, who recently received a huge amount of inheritance, including property and money, after caring for her dying grandfather, Agong. Inspired by the success of Mui, M decides to start caring for his ill grandmother, Amah, who lives alone and was recently diagnosed with cancer, in hopes of making a similar fortune. The cast of How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies
This film marks Pat’s debut as a feature film director and Billkin and Usha’s first starring roles in a film. The cast also includes Sarinrat Thomas, Sanya Kunakorn, Pongsatorn Jongwilas, Duangporn Oapirat, Himawari Tajiri, and Tontawan Tantivejakul.
