John Schneider and Dee Dee Sorvino get married in Las Vegas
“The Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider and television personality Dee Dee Sorvino were married in Las Vegas on Tuesday, July 23, according to a news release. Their union comes after both stars (John Schneider and Dee Dee Sorvino) lost their spouses in the past 2 years.
John Schneider’s late wife, Alicia Allain Schneider, died of breast cancer in February 2023. Dee Dee’s late husband, Paul Sorvino, died the year before, in July 2022. The Goodfellas actor “passed away from natural causes and had been dealing with health issues for years,” a statement said at the time.
Dee Dee Sorvino further said in a statement at the time that there would never be another Paul Sorvino who was the love of her life and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the stage and screen.

John Schneider’s controversial statement against Donald Trump
Last December, the actor responded to a post-Biden post on X (formerly Twitter) by saying that former President Donald Trump “poses many threats to our country.”
“Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hanged. Your son too,” John wrote in response to the since-deleted post. “Your answer is…? Sincerely, John Schneider.”
Following its publication, the Secret Service opened an investigation into the star’s comments. He later denied threatening the president in a statement.
John Schneider first announced that he was dating Dee Dee five months after his controversial comments and called their relationship “a miracle.”
“God sent a widower to a widow and a widow to a widower who understands it. Because I tell you what, I was willing to give up everything, all of it,” he explained in Grace Begins, The Podcast, before gesturing to his new partner off-camera.
“Then, just when I thought the idea of dating or holding hands was repulsive, I met this, crazy lady over there,” he added.
