Euphoria Season 3 (Finally) Sets Production Starting January 25, 2025

The chances of Euphoria season 3 airing next year have increased after HBO revealed that the teen drama will begin production in January. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the third season of HBO’s hit teen drama will begin filming in January of next year. While the gap between instalments may be longer than viewers would have liked, the fact that the network has set a filming date is groundbreaking for Euphoria’s third season.

Strikes organized by the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA last summer were among the causes of the delay.

Who is returning for Euphoria season 3?

The report also mentions that the entire main cast of Euphoria is expected to return for the upcoming third season. Stars like Zendaya, Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney will return to take on the roles that helped them become famous, while the twists and turns of the series developed by Sam Levinson continue to surprise viewers around the world.

Another important factor to consider for the new episodes of Euphoria will be the time jump. While the show follows Rue and her friends through high school, the third season will catch up with them after a long period of time. On February 4, 2022, the Instagram account Euphoria shared a short Instagram clip announcing that the second season would not end for Jules, Maddy, Nate, Cassie and co. “#EUPHORIA has been renewed for season 3,” the channel captioned the clip.

In an official statement, Francesca Orsi, vice president of programming at HBO, added: “Sam, Zendaya and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken the second season to extraordinary heights, challenging conventions and narrative forms while maintaining its heart.
“We couldn’t be more honoured to work with this tremendously talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them in season three.”
