Ariana Grande released the ‘The Boy Is Mine’ music video.
Ariana Grande is starring in the music video for “The Boy Is Mine” from her new album “Eternal Sunshine.” The two-time Grammy-winning singer has enlisted Gossip Girl alumnus and “You” star Penn Badgley for the official video for “Mine,” which premieres Friday.
Two decades after reaching No. 1 on the Billboard charts for their hit song of the same name, Brandy and Monica brought back memories with a brief appearance as news anchors in a Catwoman-themed music video.
In the video, Grande follows Badgley, who plays a newly elected mayor who releases stray cats onto the streets of a New York-like city to cure a rat infestation. Brandy and Monica’s music video introduces viewers to the story.
Brandy and Monica’s reunion in Grande’s video paid homage to the original “The Boy Is Mine,” which was released after rumours of the duo’s split. The singers later won Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group at the 1999 Grammys. Also read – Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron bring excitement to their latest romantic comedy.
Ariana Grande receives a sweet gift from Jimmy Fallon
Jimmy Fallon prepared a gift for Ariana Grande that the producer of Eternal Sunshine will “nurture” forever. On Thursday, June 6, the 7 Rings hitmaker was named as a guest star on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, when the host ended the segment with a surprise gift.
“Years ago, you gave me one of the best things of all time; I don’t know if you remember giving it to me,” Fallon said, before pulling out a white sweatshirt with an adorable photo of Grande on it as a baby.
“You gave me a sweatshirt with a baby picture of you on it. It’s so cute and I love it,” he said, showing off the return gift he prepared for the Nickelodeon alum.
The 47-year-old presenter then showed off a similar sweatshirt with a photo of five-year-old baby Fallon on it.
In the cute photo, he was dressed in a sailor outfit and joked, “I was in the navy,” adding: “It was a tough time for me.”
The Bang Bang singer spoke about her gift saying: “I’m going to keep it. I really like it.” She then picked it up and showed it to the audience, saying, “This is my favourite thing ever.”
