BTS 2024 Festa With “Jin”, Lucky 1000 Fans Will Get Hugs
The BTS ARMY is overjoyed as Jin is just days away from being discharged from his military service. Fans have begun celebrating his imminent return after being away for national duty, which all adult male members of society must participate in.
Jin’s comeback is just a few weeks away and fans have begun speculating what it means – new music, new projects and hopes of a full band reunion in 2025 when all members will be out of their military enlistment.
BigHit Music said that the singer of boy group BTS will be discharged on June 12 and will attend the annual BTS Festa at the Seoul Sports Complex in southern Seoul on June 13.
The agency said the event was held at Jin’s suggestion, as he wanted to spend meaningful time with ARMY, the name for BTS fans. Also read – John Legend speaks out on allegations against Sean Diddy Combs
2024 BTS Festa
The 2024 Festa will kick off next week in celebration of the popular boy group’s debut, with many fans eagerly awaiting the return of the band’s members currently serving in the military.
Jin was the first member of the band to join the army. The group’s six other members – RM, Suga, Jimin, J-Hope, V and Jungkook – are all currently enlisted.
According to the report, the agency had announced a “hug event” for 1,000 fans. The singer-songwriter will hug (or better yet shake hands with) 1,000 lucky fans at Complex’s Jamsil Arena. Jin will also deliver “a message consisting of various segments promising an unforgettable experience for ARMY,” the release said. The artist’s message for those with an ARMY membership will be live-streamed via Weverse Live.
In addition to Jin’s appearance, this year’s FESTA will feature various activities, including a sketch diary to celebrate BTS’ 11th anniversary.
Coldplay and Jin
Before his enlistment, Jin released a solo track called “Astronaut,” which was reportedly gifted to him by his friend Chris Martin and written by the famous British band Coldplay.
Coldplay is a British band close to BTS, especially Jin, who Chris Martin gave an iconic guitar. Jin has been playing that guitar for the past 10 years. Fueling the rumours, Coldplay recently changed the display picture to show the moon’s phases, a detail dedicated to BTS Jin also known as “Moon.”
