Daniel Radcliffe Don’t want old “Harry Potter” Cameo in the upcoming TV Series
Daniel Radcliffe says it would be wise to step away from the iconic film series for the upcoming “Harry Potter” TV series about Max, meaning the chances of him making a cameo on the show are pretty slim. Radcliffe starred in eight “Harry Potter” films between 2001 and 2011.
“I don’t think so,” he told E! Online when asked about starring in the series in any capacity. “I think it’s very understandable that they want a clean break. And I don’t know if doing anything about it will help. “I’m very happy to see him along with everyone else.”
Daniel Radcliffe then politely walked away from any further discussion of “Harry Potter” on television. When asked if Max had already asked him if he wanted to join the series, he responded: “I’m going to be a politician on this and not deal with hypotheticals.”
The actor has distanced himself from the new show. He told ComicBook last year that no matter how the “Harry Potter” series ends, it should be a new beginning for the franchise. Also read – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson looks unrecognizable as MMA fighter Mark Kerr
“I understand they’re trying to start over and I’m sure whoever is doing it will want to put their stamp on it and probably won’t want to find out that old Harry has a cameo.” It’s “How to Get Somewhere,” Daniel Radcliffe said. “I’m certainly not looking for it in any way and I’m very excited about the passing of the torch. But I don’t think I need to pass it on basically.”
Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced earlier this year that the “Harry Potter” TV series about Max was scheduled to launch in 2026. The show is expected to run for seven seasons, with each book based on J.K. Rowling’s best-selling fantasy book series.
“We are not ashamed of our enthusiasm for Harry Potter,” Zaslav said. “We are excited to relaunch this franchise. We had a great conversation and couldn’t be more excited about what’s next. We can’t wait to share a decade of new stories with fans around the world on Max.
