“Part of it is bittersweet. We will miss working with Eugene Lee Yang. He has been one of the true companions of both of our lives. But we’ve had plenty of time to process it,’ Jack Kornfeld told the outlet, adding that Yang was leaving after the end of the year to pursue other projects.

“We’re very excited for him, very excited for us, and feel very energized by this moment,” Kornfeld said.

Keith Habersberger further stated that “Eugene’s departure is something we need to keep moving forward.”

“A change in circumstances,” he said, referencing Ned Fulmer’s previous departure in 2022 after the fraud scandal. The original cast of The Try Guys has already been eliminated once, but now it’s headed for an even better finale.

Although additional details were not shared, in a video posted on May 22 titled “Our Next Big Try”, the duo said that Yang would post a video with more information on May 23.

In the same video, Kornfeld and Keith Habersberger announced the creation of a second Try – their newly developed subscription-based service.
“Our shows are coming straight to you,” Habersberger said in the clip. “No ads, no algorithm BS. No, no clickbait thumbnails. Just good stuff!”

Kornfeld said the goal is to allow both the group and the audience to “connect directly in some way” so they can produce the kind of content they think the audience wants to see. Also read – Charlie Colin, the founding bassist of the pop-rock band Train, has died. He was 58 years old.

According to the video, the second Try will be available worldwide and will give subscribers early access to old favourites as well as uncensored and exclusive new content.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a subscription to the service, which launched on Wednesday, will cost $4.99 per month.

As for the future, the pair promised to expand their current cast — “I think we could do a lot better work with a few more collaborators, Habersberger told THR — but in the meantime, they’re just betting on themselves.
