Bethenny Frankel and her fiance Paul Bernon have split after six years together
Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon have split after dating for 6 years. According to US Weekly, a mutual friend of the couple confirmed the news with the media portal. The friend revealed that Frankel and Bernon had been separated for two months.
The reality star and her real estate developer boyfriend started their relationship in 2018 after meeting on a dating app. They got engaged in 2021, with Frankel sharing details of Bernon’s sweet proposal in the Florida Keys two years later.
“We went out to dinner and he took me to a beautiful private table on the beach, which was as private and romantic as a fantasy date on The Bachelor,” she shared on Instagram along with a photo from the night. “The intimate details of the story are private but it was a beautiful proposal, in a beautiful setting, with a beautiful ring, to a beautiful man.”
Frankel doesn’t want to marry Bernon
In a July 2023 conversation with E! News, Frankel revealed, “I don’t want to get married.” She further said, “I love my life. I love my fiance. He’s an amazing life partner, and I wouldn’t want to sign a contract with someone I love. I don’t want to plan a big wedding for everyone and not do what we want. Bethenny Frankel’s past relationships
Bethenny Frankel, 53, was previously married to Peter Sussman. The two were together for a year before getting divorced. Bethenny was later in a relationship with Jason Hoppy. Hoppy and the TV personality got married in 2010. However, due to differences, the former couple separated in 2018. The former couple were in a protracted legal battle until a settlement was reached in 2021.
Speaking about her divorce from Hoppy, Frankel said on a podcast, “It was the most painful thing I ever expected to go through in my life.”
She added, “I’ve been through a f–king battle. I have questioned myself as a human being, and as a parent, because I was told so many times how horrible, disgusting, old and irrelevant I was and that I was abused because I Didn’t have the strength to go out.
Bethenny Frankel has a daughter with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. Meanwhile, Bernon is also the father of two children from his previous marriage.
