Greta Lee and Kingsley Ben Adir will be starring in the sci-fi horror

Greta Lee and Kingsley Ben-Adir are in talks to star in director and producer Louis Leterrier’s upcoming science-fiction horror film 11817.

Louis Leterrier has directed some of the best thrillers of the last several years, starting with his feature debut The Transporter. He directed Jason Statham in the 2002 action thriller and its 2005 sequel. He later worked on successful projects such as The Incredible Hulk, Now You See Me, and the tenth instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise. He replaced Justin Lin and is set to direct the eleventh film, Fast X: Part 2.

What is the movie 11817 about?

The film’s description depicts modern horror when “unexplained forces trap a family of four inside their home indefinitely. As modern luxuries and life-or-death essentials begin to disappear, the family must “Learn to be resourceful and know who’s out there” – or who you have to defeat to survive – with additional casting underway to bring them together.

The film is based on a script by Matthew Robinson, a script he praised for being well-written, saying, “First of all, it always starts with an idea and a script, and that script by Matthew Robinson Was genius.

Greta Lee meets Gala for the first time

Greta Lee attended her first Met Gala and stood out with her statement style. The Past Lives actress stepped out on the red carpet wearing a white, structured Loewe gown with floral embellishment. With such a delicate and airy look, one might assume that Lee would opt for soft curls or even a top knot. Instead, they combined cute with edgy. Lee debuted with a choppy hairstyle with micro bangs.

This year’s theme was ‘The Garden of Time’, which celebrates the Costume Institute’s latest exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Re-Weakening Fashion”, where delicate clothes are displayed from collections that are too delicate to be worn again. The Dress Code pays tribute to J.G. Ballard’s story of the same name, which explores the themes of mortality, nature, and time. Not only did Lee nail the brief, but the actress looked gorgeous while doing so in an ethereal custom look from Loewe.

As the Spanish fashion house’s global brand ambassador, Lee has been working with creative director Jonathan Anderson during this year’s awards season, so it was no surprise when she turned to him for this pièce de résistance.
