Singer Morgan Wallen was arrested Monday morning
Country singer Morgan Wallen was charged with three felonies Monday morning in connection with an incident at Eric Church’s new honky tonk on Broadway.
According to the 30-year-old singer’s arrest report, Metro Nashville police officers were standing in front of the Chief’s Bar on Broadway Sunday night when a chair fell on them, knocking them to the ground just a few feet away from where they were standing.
According to the arrest report, the Chief’s staff members told officers that Wallen was responsible for throwing a chair from the sixth floor of the business.

Wallen was arrested on three counts of recklessly endangering two officers in the vicinity and for endangering the public, the arrest report said. Wallen was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Morgan Wallen fans criticized Taylor Swift on Friday night after the country singer joked about the pop star at his concert in Indianapolis.
A fan video shows the Last Night singer saying, “This is the most attended concert in the history of this building, and we’re the first to do it two nights in a row.” He also said, “I’ll say this until Taylor Swift comes to town.” The incident occurred when Wallen performed at Lucas Oil Stadium. While many fans started screaming and roaring like loyal Swifties, many others started criticizing the Midnights singer. Wallen said thanked his fans for their loyalty.
