Olivia Rodrigo Suprised fans during the Guts World Tour

Olivia Rodrigo surprised fans during her Guts World Tour show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on April 5th 2024 by performing a duet with Noah Kahan on his song “Stick Season.”


Later on X (Formally known as Twitter) Noah Kahan Praised Olivia Rodrigo calling her a special talent and thanked her and her team for inviting him to the performance.

A few months earlier, Rodrigo covered Kahn’s hit for his appearance on BBC Live Lounge. Now, in just a few days, both of them will be released on vinyl as part of a Record Store Day exclusive.

Olivia Rodrigo released her sophomore album Guts in September last year.

Guts is based on themes of heartbreak, jealousy, and the pressures of growing into adulthood. The album has similar themes to Soar but differs due to the more mature themes within their music and their switch to a more college-aged demographic. When Guts vinyls were released each vinyl contained a different bonus song that formed a part of the deluxe edition of Guts. Guts (Spilled) was released on March 22, 2024

During her tour, she picked up a folded piece of paper that read, “Gets Deluxe Out Friday” and her backup dancers called out the names of five bonus songs to be included on the album. These songs include “Girl I’ve Always Been”, “Obsessed”, “Stranger”, “Scared of My Guitar”, and “So American”.

Rodrigo’s highest-ranking new hit on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart is “Obsessed”, selected as a single from Guts (Spilled). According to Luminate, that tune debuted at number 2 with sales of 3,295 copies.

Rodrigo collected back-to-back hits on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart this week. As “Obsessed” launches at number 2, “Stranger” and “So American” are new at numbers 3 and 4 respectively. Those tracks sold 2,234 and 2,218 copies respectively.
