Michael Douglas is “Genetically” Related to Scarlett Johansson
In a New episode of “Finding Your Roots,” famous for examining the ancestral backgrounds of celebrities, Michael Douglas was shocked to know that he is related to one of his famous costars.

According to Gates and his “Book of Life,” which has well-researched DNA details of celebrities by professional genealogists, Michael Douglas and Scarlett Johansson, 39, “share identical branches of DNA on 4 different chromosomes.”

Reaction of Michael Douglas after the Revelation
Douglas’s reaction upon receiving the news was obvious; surprised, he said, “Are you kidding? Oh, it’s amazing. Well, it’s good. It’s great. It’s incredible.” He then quipped: “Well, I’m looking forward to meeting Scarlett next time!” The veteran actor’s excitement was evident after the unexpected revelation with his family was related to that of a 39-year-old Avengers actress.
Previously Johansson and Douglas starred together in “Avenger: Endgame” in which they portrayed Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow and Hank Pym respectively.
This is not the first time that such a revelation has been made in a show involving Johansson.
Three years ago, television personality and executive producer of the “Real Housewives” franchise Andy Cohen revealed that he was also genetically related to the Academy Award-nominated actress.
