Divorce settlement talks between Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have failed
Sophie Turner’s legal team is asking a judge to “reactivate” her divorce case with estranged husband Joe Jonas.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have failed to reach an agreement in their divorce case, so now they have filed legal docs asking the judge to dismiss and end the marriage.
In court documents, the 28-year-old Tunner and her attorneys filed paperwork in Miami-Dade County, Florida, stating that the “exemption has expired and the case is to be reactivated.”
Just after news of their divorce filing became public in September, Turner accused Jonas of withholding their children’s passports, leaving them unable to travel to Turner’s home country of England. She wanted to take the children to Britain – but Jonas wanted to keep them in America. The matter got so bad that Sophie filed legal documents related to child abduction laws, but they dropped it. It seems they are still at odds over custody. They had pre-up, so the property is probably not a big issue.
Joe and Sophie reach a temporary child custody arrangement, but it seems they are unable to make a permanent arrangement.
