According to a recent report from THR, X Men 97 creator Beau DeMaio has been fired from the series. Beau DeMaio is the showrunner and executive producer of Disney+’s upcoming animated series “X-Men ’97,” premiering March 20.
DeMaio, a Marvel regular who previously wrote on the live-action series Moon Knight as well as early drafts of the company’s delayed-but-still-coming vampire thriller Blade, and had completed writing on season two of X-Men ’97. he was in line for press and was planning to attend the show’s Hollywood premiere on March 13. He was also discussing loose ideas for a third season with his team members.
But early last week, Marvel and DeMayo suddenly parted ways. His company email was deactivated and the cast and crew were informed that he was no longer on the project.
