A Gentleman in Moscow Series Starring Ewan McGregor
An adaptation of Amor Towles’s best-selling novel of the same name, A Gentleman in Moscow Series tells the story of Count Alexander Rostov, played by none other than Emmy Award-winning actor Ewan McGregor, who finds his golden past destroyed after the Russian Revolution and has been given space On the wrong side of history.
Synopsis of A Gentleman in Moscow Series
The Story revolves around a Count (Alexander Rostov) who wrote a poem undermining the principles of the new Bolshevik government in Moscow after the Revolution. He has been sentenced to house arrest in the Metropole Hotel. If he comes out of the hotel he will be shot to death.
The Count comes from a wealthy family and under Bolshevik rule, the aristocrats are the enemy.
Having moved from his luxurious apartment to a small attic, Rostov must serve his sentence for several years.

The cast of the Series
A Gentlemen In Moscow also stars Alexa Goodall as Nina, the Count’s unlikely young friend; Mary Elizabeth Winstead as glamorous, self-made film actress Anna Urbanova; Fehinti Balogun as Mishka, the Count’s best friend at university and Johnny Harris as conflicted secret police officer Osip.
Additional cast members include Leah Harvey, Paul Reidy, Lyes Salem, Anastasia Hille, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, Dee Ahluwalia, John Heffernan, Daniel Cerquera, Billy Gadsdon, Leah Balmforth, and Beau Gadsdon.
