The movie is directed by Thea Sharrock, and written by Frank Cottrell Boyce popularly known for his writing Children’s Friction. The story revolves around a group of homeless men who came together to participate in football’s Homeless World Cup which will take place in Italy.

The Beautiful Game 2024 trailer shows that England’s Homeless Football Team Manager Mal has taken his team to participate in the Homeless World Cup Championship which will be taking place in Rome with the hope of winning the championship.
However, his team’s success is a long-distance journey, so at the very last minute Mal decided to bring in a talented striker named Vinny who could increase their team’s chances of winning but the past Vinny had become the hurdle for his success. Previously the script was produced at Fox Searchlight Pictures, with Brendon Gleeson and Colin Farrell but in August 2021 Micheal Ward and Bill Night were confirmed for the lead role.
