Synopsis
The Trailer of The Strangers Chapter 1 indicates that the movie will show fair reference to the 2008 movie. The trailer shows a young couple who had moved to the Pacific Northwest to start a new life, However, their life was about to take a drastic turn when their Vehicle broke down and reluctantly they had to stay at a secluded Airbnb in Oregon, where they were stalked relentlessly by 3 masked murderers. Petsch explained during an interview with Collider.com that her initial take about remaking the brutally effective home invasion films disappeared after reading the script. Her greatest praise was for her and Gutierrez’s portrayal of the central couple, which she said was further fleshed out so that the audience cares about them as they go through hellish situations. Furthermore, she sees it as a strong tribute to the 2008 The Strangers played by Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman.
