Kansas City shooting Victims received $100,000 donation from Travis Kelce

After the Kansas City shooting incident on Wednesday, Travis Kelce donated $100,000 to the 2 girls’ families who got shot at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl Victory Parade.

Travis Kelce donated $50,000 each from his charity the Eight Seven & Running Foundation by using a GOFUNDME page made by the Reyes family friends which aims to provide support to the family. Reyes’s daughters aged 8 and 10 were one of the victims in the Kansas City Shooting.

According to FOX 4, The girls were shot in their legs, and they both received surgery and will soon attend physical therapy after the wound healed.

Taylor Swift is not behind her boyfriend, she helps the family of Elizabeth Lopez Galvan 43, by donating $10,0000.

Not only Kelce and Swift – NFL and Kansas City Chiefs also extend their help

The Kansas City Chiefs had announced that they had joined hands with United Way to launch an emergency response fund. The Hunt Family Foundation, The Chiefs, and the NFL were the first to donate the fund which was a total of $200,000.

A total of 22 people were injured ages ranging from 8 to 47 and one person dead. The Children’s Mercy Hospital received 12 patients after the shooting incident, out of which 11 of them were children and 9 of them had injuries due to gunfire.

According to CNN, Police Chief Stacey Graves said that the shooting was not related to any terrorist group. It is believed that two juveniles had a heated dispute and caused the incident. The two suspects’ names were not revealed because of their age. Both of them are held in the Juvenile Detention Center and will face gun-related and resisting arrest charges.
