Youth need political training to grow and help our country to develop said UT Khader
During a press conference held at the Eden Club here in June, Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, UT Khader said, “Youths who have completed the degree course and are interested in politics should be enrolled for a one-year course at the Karnataka Political Training Institute.” Will be trained through. 29.
Addressing the media persons, UT Khadar said, “Youths who are interested in politics and have passed degree courses will be trained. The government is planning to start a training centre, the “Karnataka Political Training Institute”, where youth aspiring to join politics will receive one-year training with six months of practicals and six months of internship.
Khadar further said, “We have already held talks with MIT School of Government in Pune to train the youth. We intend to start the same institute in Karnataka also. Those who are willing to join politics or join government offices, they have to undergo training. Those who are willing to join politics after completing degree course will be trained in this institute. The clear objective of the Institute would be to create a pool of ethical, motivated and trained political leadership.
Many youths are following political leaders just to gain experience in politics. If we train youth, they can start government NGOs, become PA to ministers or contest elections from Gram Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat or District Panchayat. The institute will provide necessary training in this direction.
UT Khadar also said, “Such training will help the youth to grow as politicians. When I was doing LLB I was very much interested in politics but there were no institutes to get training. This is an opportunity for the youth who are interested in politics. Karnataka Political Training Institute will start very soon and all people will be benefited. Youth performing well will be selected for further training in Delhi and Hyderabad.
