a letter on his 18th birthday to join active duty on the 1st of July. He was trained to be a fighter pilot. He
received the World War II Victory Medal and the American Campaign Medal.
When given the choice of reenlisting in force or to live a civilian life, Bill Hayes choose to live a
civilian life. He went on to complete his studies at DePauw University, He graduated in 1947 with
a major in Music and English.

supporting role in shows like Decoy and True Story many others shows. He was also becoming
