A shocking incident came to light in Andhra Pradesh, a minor girl accused her mother of forcing her to take Growth hormone to get work in a film.
A case against the mother has been logged by the Andhra Pradesh state commission for Protection of Child Rights after the minor called for help on their helpline number.
The 16-year girl in her statement said that her father K. Rajesh Kumar divorced her mother some years ago, after that, her mother remarried but the second husband died after a few years. Her mother has been feeding her GH (Growth Hormone) pills for the last 4 years, but now she was not able to tolerate the side effects that come with the pills.
She further said that her mother beat her or electrocute her if she refuse to take the pills, she even asked her to be intimate with some persons, claiming to be filmmakers.
