After airing 11 successful seasons, Chicago Fire season 12 will continue the long-running process, which means there will be even more drama to come. Chicago Fire fans have had a lot of questions since season 11 ended.
Severide and Kidd watch their marriage fall apart, Sylvie has to adopt a child, and Casey returns and proposes to Brett. However, the biggest crisis in Chicago Fire season 12 was Mouch being shot in the line of duty.

Christian Stolte’s future on the show is now in doubt following the events of the dramatic season 11 finale. Randall “Mouch” McHolland was recovering from his gunshot wound, until Herrmann suddenly saw him lying bleeding on his blanket at the hospital.
Although it’s still in the works, this wouldn’t be the first time the writers have killed off a major character on the show.
Taylor Kinney’s future as Kelly Severide was in doubt before, when the star took a temporary leave. However, now news has come that she will be returning at the start of season 12.
