After rumors that it would be canceled in January, Clarksons Farm will return for a fourth season on Prime Video.
Focusing on Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds, the show was almost axed with The Grand Tour over the presenter’s comments about Meghan Markle in her column for The Sun in December 2022.
According to Deadline, Amazon Studios UK’s head of unscripted content, Fozia Khan, said at Content London today (November 30) that Clarksons Farm will be filming season 4 “very soon”, calling it an “amazing show.” ,
The third season will be released in 2024.
Khan previously said at the Edinburgh TV Festival in August that people at Amazon Studios were “shocked and disappointed” by Clarkson’s comments about the Duchess of Sussex.
“I guess what I’m saying is that this show is much bigger than Clarkson,” she said at the time.
Following Clarkson’s controversial column, The Sun apologized, saying: “Columns’ opinions are their own, but as editors, we feel that free expression comes with responsibility. At The Sun, we do not tolerate the publication of this article. “We regret and sincerely apologize. The article has been removed from our website and our archive.”
Clarkson acknowledged the backlash last December, saying, “I am horrified that I have caused so much harm, and I will be more careful in the future.”
