Vigil Season 2 is here, and this time the story will have more thrill and suspense
Vigil season 2 : Vigil is back, this time not in a submarine (even though the show takes its name from the underwater scene of the first crime), but in an Air Force base dealing with drone warfare.
Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie both return for the new series, with Gary Lewis returning as DSU Robertson.
New cast added
The new cast includes Romola Garai, Dougray Scott, Amir El-Masry, David Elliot, Chris Jenks, Tommy Siman, Oscar Salem and Jonathan Ajayi. Additionally, Hiba Medina stars in her first leading role on television.
Vigil Series 2 Summary:
In the first season, Chief Inspector Amy Silva (Suranne Jones) investigates a death aboard the nuclear submarine HMS Vigil. The death comes shortly after the mysterious disappearance of a Scottish fishing boat.
In a new investigation (Vigil Season 2), Inspector Amy Silva (Suranne Jones) and Inspector Kirsten Longacre (Rose Leslie) enter the world of drone warfare to capture a killer. After several unexplained deaths at a Scottish military installation, Silva and Longacre are tasked with finding the cause. Entering the hostile, closed ranks of the Air Force, the pair must face the deadly war of tomorrow while fighting for their future.
