Marvel Echo: A new trailer for the Marvel Studios series, released on Friday, gives a glimpse of the violent adventure Echo is about to embark on. Headstrong female lead Alaqua Cox will reprise her role as Hawkeye in Echo as Maya Lopez. Directed by Sydney Freeland, this harrowing crime drama portrays an unlikely superheroine.
In the 1:54-minute trailer, a criminal world develops, and the female protagonist gets entangled in the creepy world. It begins with a childhood flashback, in which a cruel boss molests the girl Maya. With bloody and violent fights and many eye-catching scenes in the teaser, this action-packed drama is indeed giving a new direction to the production house.
Who is Maya Lopez aka Echo?
Maya Lopez was still a child when her father, Willie “Crazy Horse” Lincoln, was murdered by the Kingpin (Wilson Fisk). Crazy Horse dies, leaving a bloody footprint on Maya’s face and one last wish: that the Kingpin raise Maya well. The kingpin fulfilled his last wish and took care of her like his own daughter. Maya is believed to be mentally disabled and is sent to an expensive school for those with learning disabilities. There, she succeeds in replicating a song perfectly on the piano. Later, she is sent to another expensive school for talent.
How power Echo have?
Like Taskmaster Echo, she has photographic reflexes in addition to a superhuman physique. She is a talented, skilled fighter who is deaf. All the things that make Echo unique make her perfectly suited to face an almighty cosmic force.
How many episodes will it have?
This series will have five episodes, and possibly in the future she will work together with Yelena Belova and Kate Bishop. In the comics, she had a romantic relationship with Daredevil.

Echo was originally scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on November 29, 2023. However, the series was delayed to January 2024.
