ED named Ranbir Kapoor
Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor was earlier called to understand his information about the source of money he received for promoting the betting app. A report in News18 claims that the agency also asked the actor to be present at his office in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on October 6.
“Ranbir Kapoor has been called in to understand the business of the betting business. So far, he has not been cited as a defendant. It is important to interrogate him to get information from him about the sources of the money you received from him. This would possibly indicate the plans of the promoters and their consortium,” an ED source close to the development was quoted in the same report.
He also says, “Ranbir Kapoor may not be a part of any conspiracy, but it is very important to understand the scam.” Ranbir was reportedly paid for doing promotional activities for the betting app. Apparently, he will soon also be summoned by many other celebrities and actors.
It has been reported, citing sources in the Education Department, that 17 Bollywood celebrities are involved in this process. This includes Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and others who attended or performed at company boss Saurabh Chandrakar’s wedding in February earlier this year and at the company’s success party in September 2022. .
