Khalistani stopped the entry of Indian Envoy into Gurudwara
The Glasgow Gurudwara, where Khalistani extremists blocked the entry of an Indian, issued a statement strongly condemning the incident. Attacking “disordered communication”, the Gurudwara said that it is open to people of all communities and origins.
“On September 29, 2023, an incident occurred at the Gurdwara in Glasgow, where the High Commissioner of India was paying a private visit to a member of the Scottish Parliament. Some unidentified persons from outside the Glasgow area attempted to disturb the visit, after which the visitor decided to abandon the facilities”, said the communiqué of Gurdwara Guru Granth Sahib Sikh Sabha de Glasgow.

On Saturday, Khalistani extremists prevented the Indian High Commissioner, Vikram Doraiswami, from entering the Gurudwara.
In a purported video that is going viral on social networks, a man is seen preventing the High Commissioner of India in Great Britain, Vikram Doraiswami, from entering a Gurudwara in Glasgow on Friday. They also saw two people trying to open the door of the Alto Commissioned car in the parking area. Then the car left the premises of Glasgow Gurudwara Saheb.
India has raised this “infuriating” incident to the British government. The British Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, recognized that the video had gone viral on social networks and said she was “concerned”.
“The security of foreign diplomats is of utmost importance, and our places of worship in the United Kingdom should be open to all”, he said on Twitter.
