After a 19-year engagement, actress Michelle Yeoh marries boyfriend Jean Todt.
29 July, Geneva [Switzerland]: After a 19-year engagement, Oscar-winning Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh married longtime fiance Jean Todt, the former CEO of Ferrari, according to Page Six.
Yeoh, the first Asian woman to win an Oscar in March, said “I do” on Thursday in a tiny ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland.
The ‘Everything, Everywhere, All At Once’ actor and Todt were beaming as they spent their special day with a few close pals, including Brazilian racing driver Felipe Massa.
Felipe Massa posted wedding images to Instagram with the remark “Happy marriage!” Jean Todt and Michelle Yeoh appreciate you.”
According to PageSix, the first shot was of the couple’s wedding card, which had beautiful facts about their love journey.
“On the 4th of June, 2004, we met in Shanghai.””On July 26, 2004, J.T proposed to M.Y, and she said YES,” according to the card.
“Today, on the 27th of July 2023, after 6992 days, in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together.”
As shown in her wedding images, the actress even clutched her Oscar statue.
Yeoh wore two costumes for the big day: a beige-town gown with a corset bodice and gold decorations and a wedding white skirt with a white silk button-up shirt.

Todt suited up in a blue suit for the occasion. Yeoh initially met Todt in Shanghai, China, and told PageSix, quoting the Financial Times, that it was “like a fairytale.”
Todt previously said that Michael Schumacher aided him in sending his first-ever SMS message to Yeoh before taking over as FIA president till 2021.
